Ciudad Quesada is the quintessential capital of the northern part of Costa Rica, where the cantons of San Carlos, Upala, Los Chiles, Guatuso, Sarapiquí are located.
It is one of the main locations in San Carlos, one of the most outstanding cantons in Costa Rica, because of its size and population and because of its enormous contribution to the Costa Rican economy thanks to its agricultural production and agroindustry.
As the contribution of San Carlos in terms of productivity and wealth were not enough, we must add to the list the tourist boom thanks to its natural heritage and the development of public infrastructure and services.
