Playa Carrillo, located on the Nicoya Peninsula, is one of those fascinating wonders of nature so characteristic of the Costa Rican Pacific coast, but, unlike other tourist destinations, it has remained on the sidelines of development, which has been turning other communities equally charming.
The beach, or better the gulf of Carrillo, is shown to the visitor surrounded by forests. Next to the coast is the small town, inhabited mainly by farmers and fishermen.
The sand is white and delicate, the clear and calm waters, the spectacular sunsets the reef is a great habitat of a thousand goldfish.

It is located three kilometers south of Playa Sámara, in the canton of Nicoya, which allows vacationers who so prefer, complement their visit to the nearby restaurants, hotels, and nightclubs.
