Tortuga beach, known by locals as Ojochal beach, is located 15 km before the city of Puerto Cortés in the Osa canton, right between the mouth of the Balsa and Boca Coronado rivers (one of the mouths of the Grande de Térraba river).
It is separated from Playa Ventanas by a very steep mountainous sector and although it is one of those beaches located in front of the open sea, its waves are moderate, and advantage swimmers will enjoy. It’s suitable to enjoy a unique and unforgettable outing through the mangroves of Boca Coronado.
