It is the largest national park in the country, is located in the Talamanca mountains. This large park occupies one fifth of the territory of Costa Rica and has a width of 80 kilometers. Its mountains are not volcanic. It has eight of the twelve different areas of life in Costa Rica. It protects the largest rainforest in Central America. It is surrounded by various Indian reservations. Have clean water, sanitation, trails and camping areas.
