Fly to zurich on tuesdays and fridays

This is the fifth airline to have direct flights to Europe, which consolidates the efforts of Costa Rica to capture tourists from the continent

Swiss airline Edelweiss origin made direct flights between Zurich and Costa Rica from May 9, 2017, which becomes the fifth airline company providing such services between Europe and the Costa Rican territory.

The flights will be on Tuesdays and Fridays, leaving Costa Rica to Zurich, Switzerland, and for that Airbus A340-300 aircraft will be used, with 314 seats.

The new link with Europe was unveiled Monday at the National Theater attended by the President of the Republic, Luis Guillermo Solis, and Minister of Tourism, Mauricio Ventura.

“With this important announcement, Costa Rica reinforces its image in the world as a highly competitive and highly demanded destination,” said the president.
