Tuesday inaugurated service

The airline Westjet held on Tuesday its inaugural flight between Toronto and San Jose, while last Friday announced that it will fly four nonstop flights between Calgary, also in Canada, Liberia from December 19 to increase the options travelers "who are looking for low prices."
The company said it is increasing between 12% and 17% of its supply of destinations this season. West Jet makes 109 flights a day from Calgary International Airport to 47 destinations, of which 26 are located in the same Canada, 10 US and 11 international destinations.
Flights to Juan Santamaria International Airport will be conducted twice a week and Sunday- -Tuesday from Toronto this morning from December 15 on a Boeing 737-700 with capacity for 136 passengers.
This service will be maintained throughout the season until next April 26, 2016.
In the case of service from Calgary to Liberia, Guanacaste, four flights a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) of 136 passengers per trip will be made.
West Jet started operations in Costa Rica in 2012 with the Toronto-Liberia route, and this is their first destination in Central America.
Canada accounts for Costa Rica the second emitter of tourists entering the area via the world, only after the United States.
Last year 155,103 Canadians were recorded by air, representing an increase of 7.5% compared with 2013, according to the Costa Rican Tourism Institute.
Since November 2014 also began operations the airline Cubana Aviation (Havana-San Jose), Southwest Airlines (from Baltimor and Houston to Liberia and San Jose), Volaris (from Cancun and Guadalajara), Alaska Airlines (from Los Angeles to San Jose and Liberia) and Tui Thomson (from Gatwick to Liberia).
By May 2016 it is announced the start of British Airlines flights between London and San Jose.
