Lufthansa Company already handles two weekly flights.
The Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) announced that the Lufthansa airline will enable a new direct flight between Frankfurt, in Germany, and our country.
The news is generated two years after Lufthansa began its trips to Costa Rica, which, so far, occur twice a week on Thursdays and Saturdays; The new connection will be available, round trip, on Tuesdays.
The executive director of the National Chamber of Tourism (CANATUR), explained that tourism from Germany grew by around 10% during 2019.
The new flight will begin operations on Tuesday, October 27, leaving at 1:30 p.m. from Frankfurt and arriving in Costa Rica at 7:10 p.m .; the return to Germany will be at 8:55 p.m., arriving in the Teutonic country at 3 p.m.
