It is also a community with an exquisite gastronomic offer, a wide range of lodging options and a point of reference to travel to dozens of other peaceful towns and natural treasures such as the Juan Castro Blanco National Park.
- La Fortuna
It is one of the most attractive towns in Costa Rica due to its own peculiarities, the Arenal volcano serving as background decoration and the Arenal reservoir, a beautiful artificial lake whose waters are used to generate energy. In addition, its waters are perfect to practice various sports such as windsurfing, fishing, and kayaking.
The Arenal Volcano with its perfect cone is one of the most beautiful volcanoes in the world and is part of the Arenal Volcano National Park, one of the most spectacular tourist destinations in Costa Rica. The volcano hasn’t show any activity for several years so it’s safe to visit.
