Municipality of San José announced this morning to the honorees
The morning of Thursday, in the Plaza de la Cultura, the Municipality of San José announced that the distinguished Corps of Firefighters of Costa Rica will be the Marshal of the tenth edition of the Festival of Light.
Sandra Garcia, mayor of San Jose, announced that the Marshal of the Festival of Light 2014 is the Corps of firefighters.
The announcement was made the mayor Josefina Sandra Garcia, who handed Hector Chaves, director of Firefighters, the star which credited as the honorees.
"The election of the marshal of the Festival of Light is given to individuals or groups that are example of overcoming and service and a model for the family. For this reason, the Municipality of San Jose decided to honor the Fire Brigade, in the face of the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the institution," Garcia said.
The Festival of Light 2014 will be the next saturday december 13 from 6 p. m. The journey will be by the Paseo Colon and second avenue in San Jose.
