More than 5,000 people stained the paseo Colón of pink to raise awareness of the importance of this tumor, its prevention and early detection. 
There were those who showed that the cancer is also young. Karol Espinoza, 20 years, and Monica Castañeda of 17, they are diagnosed with cancer that caused the amputation of one of his legs, but armed with crutches and prostheses, walked. 
"The cancer is not only seen in the breasts and not only gives them to the elderly, the young people also happens to us, why we wanted to join," said Espinoza, who knew she had cancer at the age of 17. 
The friends of Kattya Calderon, who was diagnosed three months ago this evil, paid the clothing of shirts. 
"We are supporting our friend, albeit at a distance, because the treatment has the United States. It is a champion, has the best attitude," said Maria Laura Rojas, one of the friends. 
In the walk there were people without relatives with this cancer. "I came with my husband, my children, my sister. None has this cancer, but there are to do awareness," said Elsira Cruz, who came with his family from Moravia. 
Participants were assured that the initiative is vital to take conscience. Each year, about 1,000 are diagnosed with the tumor, and 400 die for this cause.
