Festival of Whales and Dolphins
We invite to visit us this season between July and October, to celebrate the annual visitation of humpback whales to the Marino Ballena National Park.
It is a meeting point so that all persons in Costa Rica will know the valuable natural resource such as whales. Whale watching activity develops peaceful, responsible and fun way. The advantages of shared experience and the dissemination of whales and whale watching, brings as an alternative the inclusion of our "list of places that should be visited" Ballena Bay community.
The Marino Ballena National Park is recognized at national and international level by the visitation annual of different species of cetaceans such as the humpback whale, pilot whale, whale bryde, false killer whales; In addition three species residents of dolphins that include dolphins nose of bottle, spotted dolphins, spinner dolphins, and also several species of sea turtles – hawksbill turtle, green turtle, ridley turtle.
