The Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) will attract new airlines to the country through participation in the International Trade Fair World Routes 2013, which will be held from 5 to 8 October in Las Vegas, United States. The fair will be attended by around 300 airlines around the world to negotiate their services and products in scheduled appointments with different entities such as agencies of tourism, chambers, tourist companies, among others. Allan Flores, Minister of Tourism, explained that the main objective is to strengthen existing relationships and create new linkages with global airlines to strengthen and facilitate the development of new air routes from markets of great importance to Costa Rica. "Through this activity, are created and strengthened relationships with airlines that represent or can mean a development of the optimum air services for the tourism in our country. In addition, the institution shall make known the capabilities, strengths and tourist airport services’, the minister added. The ICT will be accompanied by representatives of the two main airports of the country (Juan Santamaria International Airport and the International Airport Daniel Oduber). Edition 19 of the World Routes 2013 will include more than 3,000 delegates from around 100 participating countries from around the world.
