We’ve all heard of the tourist attractions of Costa Rica, warm beaches, its spectacular infrastructure and besides, all the forest and mountains will complement, either in walks, extreme sports or simply as a source of nature to complement the perfect place.
We will leave here a review of some of the beaches of Costa Rica more attractive.
Nicoya Peninsula
This peninsula is of course not a single beach, but in Pacific Beach, has places of interest, such as Montezuma, Tamarindo, Mal Pais, as well as select remote beaches like Conchal and Playa Grande.
Playa Manuel Antonio
For many, one of the best beaches in the world. Hidden in a National Park combines beautiful white sand, blue water and green hills of dense jungle on her fall. All kinds of activities can be done, surfing, snorkeling, trekking Tyrolese, kayaking, scuba diving, among others.
Playa Dominical
Located some 30 km south of Manuel Antonio Park, is recognized as one of the best surfing spots in Cosa Rica. It is a tranquil beach with some bowling and surf’s shop, but with a flow of people pretty small and quiet.
Tortuguero
Tortuguero National Park is located on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica and we can say that is one of the perfect places for lovers of eco-tourism, because there can combine beautiful beaches for sunbathing, with jungle safaris, canoeing, hiking and watching the vast majority of endangered species in the country, such as green sea turtles, tapirs, ocelots and Manatees.
Corcovado
Another beach that overlooks the sea by a National Park, perhaps that’s what makes it great, since the conservation of the site is full. The forest, the palm and excursions to Caño Island are the strengths of the place.
Beaches south of Limon
These beaches are perfect places on the Caribbean Sea, where you can camp in full contact with nature in national parks such as Cahuita, Manzanillo or a place of swamps, forests, coral reefs and features Caribbean waters.
Jacó
Just 2 hours from the capital, Jaco is positioned as the mecca of surfing in Costa Rica. It has a long list of things to do in the nightlife, which include bowling alleys and casinos. The hotel offer is very wide.
Playa Tambor
Also known as Whale Bay, the site is frequented by whales during some part of the year, while the rest of the year is visited by tourists who come to your gray water to enjoy their rides in the vicinity or even a walk to Turtle Island.
