It is located in the province of Guanacaste, in the canton of La Cruz. 

Gray sand beach, with a length of 1.7 km and 40 m wide, natural elements and climatic conditions are the environmental component. CUAJINIQUÍL Beach, is a settlement of fishermen. Completely surrounded by the Mangrove River CUAJINIQUÍL presents coastal vegetation interspersed with private housing. In their fauna are two groups of animals: fish and birds.
